The play reflects the realities of the lives of women from different backgrounds and generations who assert themselves differently in the field of tension between so-called equal opportunities and commercial exploitation – mostly each on her own.
It names many things that are otherwise better left unsaid and raises the question of the discrepancy between emancipated consciousness and daily actions.
With humour and self-irony, the WOMEN show their carrying power in strong-moving images. They give language to the unspoken willingness to always do everything. They give colour to the blind spots and search for their forgotten dreams with glowing cheeks under their feet.
